Dublin Elementary announced their latest Lion Leaders last week. They were: Hazael Norman and Cooper Hagood (Pre-K); Gentry Baugh (kindergarten); Jhett Weaver and Selah McCullough (first grade); Emely Velazquez and Allen Martinez (second grade); Isabel Puerta and Esteban Garcia (third grade).

Kids and parents flocked around the Corner Lot Saturday morning for the inaugural Gobble Wobble sponsored by Little Authors. Kids were able to participate in a variety of activities like making tail feathers (above) before being led on a ‘turkey crawl.

Dublin Lions are entering the third round of playoffs for the first time in school history after defeating the Palmer Bulldogs 41-35 Friday night in Joshua.

Treasurer case is dismissed

District Judge Stephen Ellis officially dismissed the case of Alfonso Campos (Erath County Judge) v. County Treasurer Kimberly Barrier on a state recommendation after hearing from the defense and prosecution on Nov. 17.

Citizen closed for holiday

The Dublin Citizen will be closed Thursday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Nov. 26 in recognition of the Thanksgiving holiday. The office will reopen Monday and no deadlines will be affected by the closure. The Citizen staff wishes everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving. — Citizen staff report

Raley celebrates 70 years

On Saturday, Dublin community members joined Dr. Harlan Raley and his wife, Eddie, in celebrating his 70th anniversary of opening his dental practice in Dublin. The milestone coincides with the recent announcement of him selling his practice to Dr.
