Texas Tuition Promise Fund deadline July 31

Texas families have through July 31 to enroll their newborns at 2021-22 prices in the Texas Tuition Promise Fund®, the state’s prepaid college tuition program. Newborns are children younger than 1 year of age at the time of enrollment.

It’s good news for students, administrators, parents and teachers as Dublin ISD pupils performed better than the state average on every single category in STAAR testing. Administrators shared the 2022 preliminary scores at the Monday, July 28 DISD school board meeting.

Free fun headed to park, library

With school returning soon, a wide variety of fun (and free) events are scheduled for Saturday, July 30 at the Dublin Public Library and City Park. The Dublin Public Library will host its Back-to-School Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the library.
