Community Table serving free meal The Community Table at Dublin First Methodist Church is now serving meals in the fellowship hall as well as performing deliveries. The meals are free to the community the last Wednesday of every month, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The headline in the Dublin Progress read “A Fatal Tragedy. Constable Adams Shot to Death on the Streets of Dublin. Two Deadly Charges from a Breech loading Shotgun Does the Work. He was killed instantly.” It happened at the corner of Blackjack and Patrick streets around 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 18, 1897.

The Comanche County Healthcare Foundation Board of Directors

presented to the CCMC-CCCHD health system Legacy Campaign a $100,000 donation. The funds were raised during the Foundation’s annual fall fundraising period to support the construction costs of the new long-term care center.
