Law enforcement responds to juvenile escape after detention hearing

Law enforcement were out in great numbers Monday, Feb. 27 at the Stephenville City Park. On Monday afternoon, a juvenile attempted to escape law enforcement custody after a detention hearing was held at the Erath County Courthouse Annex.

Lenten Fish Fry held Fridays in Stephenville The Stephenville Knights of Columbus continue their Lenten Fish Fry, on Friday at Newman Hall. The weekly event will run from 5-7 p.m. Fridays thru March 31. The meal will consist of fish, coleslaw, hushpuppies, french fries, tea, and dessert.
