Thursday club learns about Tarleton

The Dublin Woman’s Thursday Club recently met and touring the beautiful new Blackjack Office Center. Thank you to Karen Wright for hosting the club at the Blackjack Office Center Feb. 9. The conference room of this beautiful downtown property was perfect for the gathering.

Erath Grand Jury Indictments named

The following individuals were indicted on felony charges by the Erath County Grand Jury Feb. 15.

100 years ago

Feb. 23, 1923 Mrs. W.W. Boggs of Proctor, was in Dublin on Monday and ordered the Progress sent to her son Travis Boggs at Honolulu, Hawaii Islands.

Police log

A reporting person in the 200 block of Highland sold a vehicle in November, and the new owner was suppose to pay the owner but never did. A caller advised there is a house that has a pack of dogs that are always fighting in the yard. The call was forwarded to Animal Control.

Congressman Williams greets Dublin

U.S. Rep. Roger Williams was greeted with a warm welcome at a town hall meeting in Dublin, getting to know some of his new constituents. Rep. Williams is representing Texas District-25, which now encompasses the entirety of Erath County. Prior to redistricting, the county was split between U.S.

Dublin ISD and the Board of Trustees recognized the students below in the February Meeting for their extraordinary accomplishments!
