United Coop opens scholarship

United Cooperative Services scholarship is now open and applicants may apply through June 1. United Coop created a scholarship award program to encourage and assist in the educational pursuits of United Cooperative Services’ members and their families.

Some counties received beneficial rainfall while others saw very little to none. Soil moisture levels were adequate to surplus. Two lakes in the district received some runoff and water levels have increased slightly, but most stock tanks were still not full.

Citizen brings home 13 awards

The Dublin Citizen team took home 13 awards in the North and East Texas Press Association Better Newspaper Contest. Awards were announced Saturday, April 29 in Nacogdoches to conclude NETPA’s 96th annual convention.
