Troop 30 went camping in September at V Ranch and Farm owned by James and Leta Sage. While there, Troop 30 worked on cooking, camping and bird study merit badges. During a hike, the boys found a 12 point deer skull. The Troop will be camping every month. Troop members are Jaxson Salinas, Joe Salinas, Falen Henderson, Lucas Koen, Issac Puerta, Sam Minor and Jacob Puerta. Leaders include Raymond Salinas, Carlos Puerta, Gabriel Minor and David Cleveland. Submitted photo

Fall Fest offers spooktacular time for elementary, intermediate students

Dublin Memorial Stadium was filled with costumed kids and parents as Dublin Elementary and Intermediate hosted the annual Fall Festival Oct. 4. Games and treats abounded for the students as they made their way around the field and track. For more photos see the Dublin Citizen Facebook page.

More than 270 gathered around Perry Hall for treats, games and a chance to spend time with first responders as Dublin PD hosted National Night Out Oct. 1 thanks to many sponsors like Revitalize Dublin.

Stephenville Cattle Co. Round up for Rehab set Oct. 26

Stephenville Cattle Company is gathering up items for its annual Round-Up for Rehab Special Auction and Gun Raffle at noon Saturday, Oct. 26.This is the 45th year that the cattle company has held the event benefitting the West Texas Rehabilitation Center.
