Crews hit the bricks

Dublin was a flurry of activity in recent weeks as city crews were joined by other organizations in improving infrastructure.The intersection of Elm and Patrick was closed and a detour put in place as TxDOT began the first phase on working on drainage and the roadway on Dublin’s main street.

UFO play set for Tarleton this week

A 2008 UFO sighting in Stephenville is the subject of an original play to be presented by Tarleton State University’s Texan Theatre starting April 10 in the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center.

Humane Society Run May 3

The second annual Cinco De Mayo 5k and Fun Run has been set Saturday, May 3 for the Bosque River Tail benefiting the Erath County Humane Society.The event will start at 9 a.m. at the trailhead at Timber Ridge Church (510 E. Lingleville) with humans disembarking on the 5K.
