Question: Background/ education/family info?Patrick: I was born here in Dublin in 1980. My father’s side of the family has been here in the Dublin/ Edna Hill area since the 1870’s. My mother’s side comes from Chihuahua, Mexico and has been here in Dublin since the mid 1970’s.

Question: Background/ education/family info?Dalton: I grew up in small town Wyoming. After high school I spent an additional 4 years in trade school whilst being employed. I moved to Texas several years ago to build a small business here in Dublin.

It was a difficult time for people all over the United States in 1933. The Great Depression started in 1929 and continued to get worse. Franklin Delano Roosevelt was elected in November 1932.

Knights of Colombus host Lenten Fish Fry Fridays

Council 10816 Knights of Columbus are hosting a fish fry meal Fridays through April 11 from 5-7 p.m. at Newman Hall in Stephenville.Meals are $20 and include fried catfish, coleslaw, hushpuppies, french fries, dessert and tea.

Pre-K and Kindergarten registration for Dublin ISD will take place 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 29 and Wednesday, April 30 at the Dublin Elementary School.Students must be 4 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2025 for Pre-K and 5 years old on or before Sept.
