Tarleton State University’s Department of Performing Arts presents the annual Spring Masterworks concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 5, in the auditorium of the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center in Stephenville.

Comanche Museum to host Frontier Day

Hail storm leaves city, area in the dark

Dublin and the surrounding area sought cover Saturday, March 29 as a hail storm rolled in around 9 p.m., causing damage and cutting power to hundreds of residents and businesses.The National Weather Service in Fort Worth received several hail reports including 1.
A neighbor in need received a new wheelchair ramp constructed by the Texas Ramp Project who utilized local volunteers from Dublin EMS, Dublin PD, Revitalize Dublin and city of Dublin staff. Dubliners provide neighbor with new path

More than a dozen volunteers joined together through the Texas Ramp Project Saturday, March 29 to help a Dublin resident with a ramp so they can safely get in and out of their house.

TxDot to start Patrick St. Project

Residents in Dublin should be prepared as TxDOT begins work on Patrick Street (Business 67) Monday, April 7.The work, which is anticipated to last until the fall of 2026, will take place on Patrick Street from U.S. 67 to Hwy. 6. The project includes rehabilitating the roadway, curbs, and gutters.

Intermediate named to Honor Roll list

The Dublin Intermediate School is on a roll and has been named 2024 Honor Roll school by Educational Results Partnership, a data science organization that recognizes schools with high performance in Math and English.

Student documentary makes planetary debut

A total of 200 gathered in the Tarleton State University planetarium across four screening to witness “Mission,” a documentary made by Tarleton Student Diego Campos, 22, spotlighting the St. Brendan Catholic Campus Ministry and the way it promotes faith and fraternity in those it reaches.
