In a torrential downpour Thursday, April 24, Erath Fire/Rescue Firefighter Rocco Fitzgerald and Dublin VFD firefighter JW Brunson work to extinguish a house fire on Camden Street in Dublin. Plant lovers will have lots of opportunities this weekend to purchase plants with two plant fairs in Stephenville.The Erath County Master Gardeners sale will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research Center in Stephenville.

A confirmed EF-1 tornado touched down in Erath County Saturday, April 19 in the south east part of the county.A home was completely destroyed near FM 1824 south of Johnsville and fortunately the owners were not at home when the tornado occurred. Two families that attend Three Way ISD were impacted.
