In a torrential downpour Thursday, April 24, Erath Fire/Rescue Firefighter Rocco Fitzgerald and Dublin VFD firefighter JW Brunson work to extinguish a house fire on Camden Street in Dublin. The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time. Dublin VFD, Erath Fire/Rescue, Harbin VFD, Erath County Fire Marshal Tommy Shelton and Dublin PD aided at the scene. Erath recovers after EF-1 tornado

A confirmed EF-1 tornado touched down in Erath County Saturday, April 19 in the south east part of the county.A home was completely destroyed near FM 1824 south of Johnsville and fortunately the owners were not at home when the tornado occurred. Two families that attend Three Way ISD were impacted.
