Dublin FCCLA had two teams place in the top 5 at state competition in Dallas April 12-14. They were the Promote and Publicize team Level 3 (above, team members Sydney Master, Wendy Calderon and Isabella Velasquez) and Chapter in Display Level 2 (below, Abbygayle Marrett and Jacquelynn Knoop.

The Dublin Lady Lions racked up hits and homers in a high scoring loss to Early on April 2 on the Dublin Diamond.Cassidy Adair cracked 3 hits in 3 at-bats, which included a solo home run to left field.

Lions keep fight

Dublin Lions logged losses to Peaster and Early last week, but head baseball coach Corde Morris is encouraged to see the players keep their heads up and fighting until the end.“It’s encouraging to see what kids are doing,” he said. “They’re not letting things bother them like in the past.
