The Dublin Lady Lions logged their first win of the season against Strawn in a Feb. 27 home game which ended 2-0.“I’m very proud of the outcome for today’s game,” said DHS head softball coach Vanessa Longoria following the win. “We came out strong and we finished strong.

The Dublin Lions went 1-2 in tournament play at Bluff Dale last week with a 15-0 closeout and solid plays to finish the tourney.“That last game they played better than they have since I’ve been here,” said head baseball coach Corde Morris of the team working together.

The Dublin Lady Lions are serving a pulled pork sandwich lunch fundraiser on Saturday, March 9 at 11 a.m. at Brookshire Brothers.Plates are $10 each and come with chips and a drink. Proceeds will go to support raising funds for banners of each of the softball players.
