GRANBURY
Body

GOOD. Water stained; 70 degrees; 8.96 feet below pool. Black bass to 8.50 pounds are good on jigs, spinnerbaits and crankbaits in 3-12 feet of water. Crappie are good along the shoreline out to 4 feet with black and chartreuse and brush piles with minnows in 10-12 feet of water. White bass are good on crankbaits and small swimbaits in the lights late and then slow during the day. Catfish are good on cut or prepared bait around the flats.

GOOD. Water clear; 73 degrees; 0.22 feet below pool. Granbury water temperatures are in the low 70s and continue to warm slowly. Granbury lake levels are normal and some stained water in the backs of creeks is possible due to recent rains. Floating debris may be encountered navigating the lake, so be careful out there. Granbury was releasing water this past week due to the heavy rains. Granbury sand bass fishing continues to be good to excellent on chartreuse and white slabs fished in 12-20 feet of water from Decordova Subdivision to in town by the Shores. Striped bass are slow to fair on live bait and trolled Alabama rigs on the lower ends from Blue Water Shores to Decordova subdivision. Crappie catches on small jigs and minnows are good on submerged structures and docks. Catfish including some big yellows and blues are fair to good on the upper ends on cut shad.

POSSUM KINGDOM

FAIR. Water clear; 70 degrees; 0.02 feet below pool. Stripers fair to good. Live bait is the most consistent way to put fish in the boat but some can be caught trolling lures. Look for them in 30-50 feet. Good colors are white, chartreuse, and silver. Sand bass are fair to slow, and you will definitely have to look for them. They are scattered in 10-20 feet of water using live shad or small slabs and jigs in white or silver. Catfish are good. Cut shad is producing good numbers of fish in 2-10 feet and 40-60 feet of water. Water clarity is steady at 4-10 feet of visibility.

PROCTOR

GOOD. Water normal stain; 65 degrees; 12.18 feet below pool. Largemouth bass can be caught on soft plastics. Crappie are good in shallow and deep water. Catfish bite has slowed. Hybrid stripers are fair. Ramps are closed, but it is possible to launch a boat from the gravel at Buffalo Springs. Fishing from a kayak is possible.

WEATHERFORD

GOOD. Water normal stain; 65 degrees; 12.18 feet below pool. Largemouth bass can be caught on soft plastics. Crappie are good in shallow and deep water. Catfish bite has slowed. Hybrid stripers are fair. Ramps are closed, but it is possible to launch a boat from the gravel at Buffalo Springs. Fishing from a kayak is possible.
