The 1A Lingleville Cardinals found themselves in a tough battle with the 4A Stephenville Yellowjackets Tuesday, Nov. 19 and came within 15 by game’s end.

The 2024 Area Champion Lingleville Lady Cardinals ended their season on the Comanche volleyball court Tuesday, Nov. 12 against Evant in a three-set loss.Several of the Lady Cardinals earned postseason honors following the end of their playoff bid.Madison Howle, who earned an average of 14.

GOOD. Water stained; 68 degrees; 1.69 feet above pool. Black bass to 6.50 pounds are excellent on Hag’s Jigs and swimbaits in the grass and weeds, or with crankbaits off the rocks in 5-10 feet around the rock cuts. Crappie are slow around docks with brush on minnows and some off shore brush piles.

Dublin Lions aim for 2 against the Brownwood Lions in a home game Nov. 12 in the Roy and Lynn Neff Gym. Although hard-fought, Brownwood took the W 61-47. The Lions returned to the home gym Nov. 16 when the team, bolstered by many JV players, took on Keene. The visitors claimed the win 65-27.

Paul Gaudette Managing Editor The Dublin Lady Lions basketball followed their season opening win with a close battle against the Maidens in Huckabay.The 32-49 win for Huckabay came after a second half rallying cry which closed the gap left from the first half.
