The Lady Lions are now 4-6 in district play after suffering losses against Brock and Eastland on Oct. 6 and Saturday. The Oct. 6 home game against the Brock Lady Eagles was a loss for the Lady Lions with Brock taking the game in three sets (25-13, 25-14 and 25-14).

The Dublin varsity Cross Country boys claimed top honors the annual Dublin Dash held Sept. 30 at Dublin Secondary, while the varsity girls claimed second. Finishes for the Dublin varsity boys included: 1. Jilt DeBoer 2. Daniel Escobar 3. Emiliano Hernandez 5. Lisandro Ortiz 10.

Friday’s game against Early resulted in a victory for the Dublin Lady Lions after taking the game in four sets with Dublin winning sets one, two and four (25-23, 25-20 and 25-19). Early won set three with a score of 25-13.
