The Dublin Lions and Lingleville Cardinals held a fierce battle on the Dublin court Saturday in which the home team emerged with an 88-86 win.
The teams stayed neck and neck through the first half, leading to a halftime tie of 37-37, but it was in the third quarter where Dublin’s 26 points allowed them to secure a lead which they maintained through the end of the game although Lingleville fired back in the fourth and got within two points.
This game followed a 67-41 away victory for Dublin on Friday night and a 71-65 away loss for Lingleville to Hawley.
Dublin was at 6-3 and Lingleville was at 2-5 heading into Tuesday night’s games.
