Tarleton named ‘voter friendly’

Tarleton State University has been named a 2021-22 Voter Friendly Campus by the Campus Vote Project and the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators.

DHS to host hundreds in meets

Dublin is set to host dozens of school in upcoming district and area track meets, according to Dublin Athletic Director Bob Cervetto. This will start with the District 8-3A Track and Field meet, starting with field events at 10 a.m. on March 31 and April 1. (Running prelims will start at 2 p.m.

FCA picks locals

More than 300 of the area’s top athletes representing 73 high schools have been selected to participate in the Big Country Chevy Dealers 2021 FCA All-Star Festival, including several athletes from Dublin and Lingleville.

BROWNWOOD Water stained; 47 degrees; 3.05 low. Largemouth bass are fair with spinners, crankbaits, and jigs in coves and shorelines. Crappie are fair on minnows in brush piles and timber edges near a creek channel or dropoff. White bass and hybrids are fair on slabs and swimbaits in the creeks.
