The Dublin Lions 7-on-7 football team went undefeated in Saturday’s tournament at Hamilton’s Kooken Field. The team claimed victories over Hamilton, Hico and Mildred but didn’t have to enter the finals bracket since they have already qualified for state competition in July after an undefeated run at the Clyde tournament on May 15.
The team will host visitors this Saturday, May 29 in a tournament on Bob and Norma Cervetto Field, starting at 9 a.m.
Two games will take place at once throughout the tournament. Pool A includes Dublin (who has already qualified for state), Hamilton, Tolar and Brady. Pool B includes Rio Vista, Palmer, Hico and Coleman.
