BROWNWOOD GOOD. Water slightly stained; 81-83 degrees; 3.61 feet low. Bass are fair to good up to 4 pounds on crankbaits and jigs on hardwoods and between docks. The topwater bite is starting to pick up. Crappie are good to 1.

Lady Lions hosting VB Camp

The Dublin Lady Lion Volleyball Camp will be held from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday through June 22, offering all girls that are incoming first through 8th graders a chance to practice on the Lady Lion home court with players and coaching staff.

Dublin Lions Cooper Hubble and Christian Ramirez hit the field once more on June 11 for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes All-Star Football Game as part of the 2022 Big Country FCA All-Star Festival.

3 Lions named All-District

Three Dublin Lions received postseason honors as All-District selections were announced last week. “These are three hard working guys and the honors are well-deserved,” said head DHS baseball coach Brennan Harris.

BROWNWOOD GOOD. Water slightly stained; 75-78 degrees; 3.56 feet low. Bass are good to 6 pounds on crankbaits and shaky heads feeding on perch beds along rocky shorelines. Most are in a summer pattern.

Help send 7-on-7 to state tourney

The Dublin Lions 7-on-7 team has qualified for state and needs some help as they travel to Bryan, Texas on June 23-25 for the Division III tournament. An online fundraiser has been started to help with travel and lodging costs with $241 raised of the $1,700 goal as of Tuesday afternoon.
