Chamber seeking award nominees

100 years March 18, 1921 The Smith Company (located next to the post office) advertised a Big Bankrupt Sale for their entire stock of men’s goods starting on March 18th at 9 am. Clothing, shoes, hats, coats and many other items were featured in a full page advertisement.

March 5 At 2:16 p.m. a man on a bicycle was hit and killed by a vehicle on FM 219 North near CR 373. March 6 At 2:51 a.m. five dead wild pigs were illegally dumped on FM 219 North. At 1:07 p.m. a skid steer caught on fire along with grass on FM 2481. At 2:47 p.m.
