Aug. 15 A reporting person advised they heard a woman crying with multiple people outside in the 600 block of North Patrick Street. An officer did not locate any woman or disturbance but there was a small party that may have been the cause of the noise.

Texas hunters headed out for dove season are asked to watch for abandoned or deteriorated water wells, and to report any they find to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Rodeo comes to Dublin Sept. 9-10

DISD talks staff pay, tax rate

Dublin ISD school board approved the district’s annual budget and tax rate for the upcoming fiscal year after holding a public hearing to seek input from the community. No one spoke at the public hearing and board members Blanca Martineau and Raymond Salinas were absent from the meeting.
