Judging a Halloween Costume Contest is never an easy task but especially not with so many cute and terrifying entries.
“We want to thank everyone who took the time to enter the contest and show us your creativity in the spirit of Halloween,” Managing Editor Paul Gaudette said.
Entries were submitted via email to the Dublin Citizen from Friday, Oct. 28 through midnight on Halloween.
The Dublin Chamber of Commerce donated Dublin Dollars for first place prizes and Three Oaks Assisted Living residents donated a special prize, a $20 gift card for the group division.
Second place winners will receive a goodie basket and certificates.
Residents were also judges for the contest including Mark Littlefield, Rickie Pratt and James Lowery along with input from the Dublin Citizen staff members.
All prizes can be picked up starting Friday, Nov. 4 at the Dublin Citizen. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 938 North Patrick.
Photos of all entrants can be found on the Dublin Citizen Facebook page.
