Erath County Grand Jury indicted the following individuals Oct. 19 on felony charges.

Oct. 27, 1922 J.S. Daugherty, wife and little daughter Annielee arrived in Dublin Saturday from Kirbyville and have secured rooms with Mrs. Ada Frits. Elder Daugherty will serve in the capacity of minister of the Church of Christ in Dublin.

Carolyn Sparks Puckett started working in the kitchen in the Dublin nursing home in the sixth grade, as part of a program to keep students busy and out of trouble.The program did much more than keep her busy though — it set Puckett up for a 37-year career in food service.

Michael and Jessica Mudd are very excited to announce the birth of their daughter, Mieca Faye Mudd (nicknamed Gidget) that was given to her by her Papa. Mieca arrived at 8:24 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022 at Midlothian Methodist, Midlothian, Texas. She weighed 6 lb., 11 oz.

Genealogy aficionados are invited to the W.K. Gordon Museum and Research Center for a genealogy discussion with Dr. Deborah Liles at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20. Dr. Liles teaches the history of Texas, local communities, the United States, women, ranching and slavery.
