MTGCD holds driller hearing

The Middle Trinity Groundwater Conservation District considered orders to a well driller for non-compliance following a show cause hearing and voted to amend district rules during the regular meeting Thursday, May 9.

Council recognizes city departments

The Dublin City Council presented several proclamations and revisited several items during a short meeting Monday, May 13, 2024.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Parties did get physical but neither party wanted to press charges. They separated for the evening.A reporting person stated that there was a suspicious vehicle that followed her for about a week with no identifiers.

We had an interesting visitor in the museum a few weeks ago. He had grown up in Iowa and knew about the Piano-ette sometimes called the Piano-lin. We have this same type of instrument in the front of the museum hanging on the wall with a violin.The instrument we have is called a Violin Uke.

City Pool to open May 25

The Dublin City Pool will officially open Saturday, May 25.Pool hours are Tuesday noon to 8 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday noon to 5 p.m. and the pool is closed on Monday.Cash only entrance fees are $3 for swimmers 3 and over and free for nonswimmers and 2 and under kids.
