Otherworldly events set for this weekend

This weekend, Dublin can experience a few out of this world events as the 133rd Anniversary of the Dublin UFO Explosion takes place.On Saturday, June 15, there will be an event to commemorate the 133rd Anniversary of the Dublin UFO Explosion over the William T. Miller Grist Mill in Wright Park.

New councilmembers take helm in Dublin

Outgoing Dublin City Council members Orion Gallagher and Keegan McInroe were honored as newly elected city council members Nancy Williams and Jacob McCullough were sworn into office during the regular meeting Monday, June 10.

Wheels and warm welcomes

The Hearts Home Dublin Area Reunion allows classmates of all ages to visit with each other Saturday, June 8 at The Station before a luncheon. The reunion is sponsored by the Dublin Historical Society and Corporate Sponsor First National Bank.

MTCGD orders lesser fine for driller

“This has been over 15 years of my life. We have accomplished much but it has been a great sacrifice for my family,” Joe Brown said, about his retirement from Precinct 3 County Commissioner on Monday, June 10.
