It has been said it takes a village and with the start of school quickly approaching the Dublin Public Library and its community partners have been hard at work preparing for the annual Back to School Fair.The event is set from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 27 at the library, 206 West Blackjack.

Greens Creek Baptist Church is holding Vacation Bible School this week, offering kids the opportunity to know Jesus through the Breaker Rock Beach theme. A fun time with arts and crafts, music, games, Bible study and more was had by a multitude of children on its opening day, Monday, July 22.

Playground repairs complete after vandalism

Work was expected to finish Wednesday, July 17 in repairing the newer playground area at the Dublin City Park after someone cut a hole in the ‘fall-safe’ surface, necessitating a complete replacement of the materials.
