Managing Editor Paul Gaudette was recently named as Journalist of the Year for North and East Texas Press Association and the Dublin Citizen team was named as the best small weekly newspaper.Awards were announced Saturday, April 5 in Fairfield to conclude NETPA’s 98th annual convention.

The Dublin Chamber of Commerce and The Dublin Citizen are partnering for a City Council Candidate Forum Thursday, April 17.The public is invited to the free event at 6 p.m. at 815 N Patrick, Dublin.Join us for a City Council Candidate Forum, featuring all candidates running for Dublin City Council.
Students are hard at work preparing for this weekend’s Dublin FFA Greenhouse Spring Plant Sale. The new greenhouse is boosting tons of beautiful flowers and veggie plants ready to find their perfect homes in Dublin and in the nearby area. The April 12-13 Dublin FFA greenhouse plant sale offers a great opportunity for the public to see the high tech greenhouse that proved popular as soon as construction finished in November/December.The greenhouse is located at Dublin High School near the student lot in the back.
