The Erath County Genealogical Society (ECGS) honored longtime volunteer Donna Whitefield during their regular meeting at Dublin Public Library Saturday, April 26 as she was presented with a brick in her honor for the library sidewalk.

This Saturday, citizens have the chance to go back to the ‘90s while supporting a great cause with Revitalize Dublin’s 2nd annual fundraiser.The nonprofit, whose mission is to beautify Dublin, will host the event Saturday, May 3 with 90s rock tribute band One Headlight at Backwoods.

In a torrential downpour Thursday, April 24, Erath Fire/Rescue Firefighter Rocco Fitzgerald and Dublin VFD firefighter JW Brunson work to extinguish a house fire on Camden Street in Dublin. The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time. Dublin VFD, Erath Fire/Rescue, Harbin VFD, Erath County Fire Marshal Tommy Shelton and Dublin PD aided at the scene.
