Court approves nonemergency transportation for CRP program

The county has signed an agreement with Cruising Care for nonemergency transportation in regards to patients in the Community Response Paramedic program.Paramedic Colby Swearingen and staff have been working on the proposal for several months.

UDC honors veterans

Four veterans were honored Sunday, April 27 for their military service to the United States of America.Staff Sergeant Dale Merworth of Sidney received the Vietnam Cross of Military Service.

Lingleville students earn academic awards

Lingleville ISD hosted its academic awards for high school Monday, May 12 and the following students received awards.

2025 DHS FFA Banquet - May 13

Dublin FFA members were recognized for accomplishments during the annual banquet in the DHS Cafeteria Tuesday, May 13. Other awards included the Ag Mechanics Show Team Award presented to Hayden Milburn.

Rangers investigate death at county line

A grisly death in Comanche County is being investigated by the Texas Rangers.On May 15, the Comanche County Sheriff’s Office was notified of an incident involving a person on fire on Highway 2823 near the borders of Comanche, Erath and Hamilton counties.

Weekend chock full of events
