Event honors Kingdom Threads

TexasBank is inviting the community to a special event Wednesday, Sept. 30 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Kingdom Threads as the bank shows its appreciation for the nonprofit. There will be a giveaway drawing, free snocones and TexasBank merchandise.

Hisp. Heritage festival Saturday

This Saturday Hispanic Heritage will be on full display with the Dublin Chamber of Commerce’s annual festival held at City Park.“Dublin is coming together to celebrate culture, community, and the vibrant heritage that makes our town so special,” said Chamber President Nancy Williams.

Pantry seeks funds for new home

The Love Basket, Dublin’s twice a month food bank, needs help to move to a new home and can use assistance to make that happen.Since October 2007, the food bank has operated out of the Quik-Lok storage unit office at 207 E. Elm.

Council approves budget, tax rate

The Dublin City Council approved the 2026-27 budget and tax rate in a lengthy regular meeting Monday, Sept. 14 where they also voted to sell a portion of the bricks removed in the Patrick street renovation and granted replats following public hearings.
