January 30 At 11:36 a.m. a small fire broke out in a bar ditch on Hwy 108 North. At 12:07 p.m. a dead black Lab was found at a business on CR 437. At 4:36 p.m. two black calves were reported missing from FM 1702, no tags or brands. At 11:58 p.m.

February 1 Reporting person came into the station to report credit/debit card fraud on the 500 block of Highland. A report was made for a suspicious vehicle at Big’s Gas Station on the 500 block of Blackjack. February 2 A report was made for loud music on Wateroak.

DPS: License renewal waiver expires in April

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is reminding the public the waiver on expiration dates for driver licenses (DLs) and identification cards (IDs) ends on April 14, 2021. Customers who need to renew are urged to make an appointment or renew online today.

Filing deadline Friday

Filing closes Friday for the May 1 General election, which includes two City Council races and three Dublin ISD School Board positions. City Council seats up for election are those filled by Darrell Curry and Sammy Moore.
