DISD combining March/Feb. school board meetings Dublin ISD has decided to combine the February and March school board meetings into one meeting due to calendar conflicts and COVID reasons. The meeting will be held March 1 at 7 p.m.

75 years Feb. 15, 1946 The Majestic Theatre was playing several films. Friday’s show was Jessie James starring Tyrone Power, Henry Fonda and Nancy Kelly. Saturday’s matinee and night show was The Chicago Kid. Sunday and Monday played Imitation of Life starring Claudette Colbert and Warren William.

As a light hearted name for a rail passenger car, people called it a Doodlebug. It was a rail car with a diesel motor in the front, room for baggage and mail in the middle and a passenger car in the back.

NRCS meetings open to public
