Greens Creek Baptist Church will have their annual Vacation Bible School July 26-30 from 8:45 a.m. to noon each day. Theme for this year’s event is Concrete Cranes - Look up-way up. That’s where the lesson is headed.

Members of the Dublin Rotary Club served a BBQ chuck wagon dinner to students attending the RYLA event at Tarleton University. RYLA is the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards that is an intense leadership training for students over 16 years of age.

Comanche Chief The Comanche County Community Rehab kicked off its 22nd year this week. 190 volunteers have stepped up to help with rehabilitation for housing projects after last year’s event was cancelled due to COVID-19. This year’s group is in the process of fixing up 11 homes.

Mary Stoddard Lowe has had a life full of travel and adventure. Now back in Texas to be closer to family, Lowe enjoys keeping up her connections with friends all over the country. After she graduated from Dublin High School in 1969, Lowe went to Cisco Junior College as a commercial art major.

Benefits set for Cisco man

The Cisco community is stepping up to support 43-year-old Robert “Dion” Fink in the fight of his life. Dion was diagnosed with the auto-immune disease granulomatosis with polyangiitis (also called GPA or Wegener’s) in 2006.
