The Dublin FFA Entomology team started the year off judging at Jacksboro where they placed 4th. Mariana Ortiz was second high score individual at the contest. Dublin also traveled to Anson where they placed second as a team.

Fatal shooting reported in Dublin

Texas Rangers are seeking a suspect in connection with a shooting that happened just after 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 27 in the 400 block of West Valley.
The suspect Jesus Manuel Deleon, is 60 years old, approximately 5’08” tall and 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

These were the words of Addy, a 10-year-old, who is now a published author after collaborating with seven other kids between the ages of seven and 12 in a workshop held by Little Authors last July.

DISD opts to shorten school day

Dubin ISD students and staff can look forward to earlier dismissal next year following the approval of the 2022-23 school calendar during the March 22 school board meeting.
Elementary and Intermediate days will run from 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
