Texas appraisal districts issue guidance

Today the Texas Association of Appraisal Districts announced historic growth in Texas real estate values. According to the association, regions around the state have seen increases in values between 20-50% since last year.

MUSEUM MATTERS

The Dublin Standpipe was built to connect with the Dublin water system and was in place in 1896. It stood 12‘ x 60‘ and was 1 1/2 miles from the corner of Elm and Patrick Streets.

Steve and Kim Thomas were joined by Dublin Chamber of Commerce and community members for the ribbon cutting of their business, Dr. Bill’s Outdoor Supply which moved from Stephenville to 14767 Highway 377 between Dublin and Stephenville. Dr.’s office moves closer to Dublin

His name is Steven Thomas but most know him as Dr. Bill since he sees to the health of all manner of small engines. Thomas is the owner of Dr. Bill’s Outdoor Supply which held a grand opening celebration to mark its move from Stephenville to 14767 S. US Hwy 377.

Dublin Intermediate announced the newest members of the Million Word Club. Maria Torres (above, left) is the first 4th grader this year to reach the million word club with 1,065,051 and with a 85% passing rate!!!

POLICE LOG

March 14 A Reporting Person called Dublin PD about pack of dogs running around the 700 block of Myrtle and trying to get into fences to attack other animals. A caller advised Dublin PD of a thin horse in a small pen on Trowbridge Street.
