The Dublin Citizen earned more awards as it claimed second place sweepstakes in the North & East Texas Press Association awards held Saturday in conjunction with the NETPA/West Texas Press Association combined convention held at the Circle T Resort in Hamilton April 7-April 9.

CCHF cooking up fundraiser

Comanche County Healthcare Foundation is offering its second annual “tasty” fundraiser with just a few more days to get involved with briskets, ribs and pork loins up for sale. Those popular cuts of meat are being grilled by local grill masters and offer a delight for the taste buds.

Evening Lions Club donates $18k to fire departments

With the stress that local volunteer fire departments have endured recently, the Stephenville Evening Lions Club is proud to help. The Stephenville Evening Lions Club has made a $2,000 donation to each of the eight different volunteer fire departments of Erath County.

March 29 Dublin PD was advised of three loose dogs by the train tracks behind the tax office on S. Grafton. A caller requested a criminal trespass on a subject that kept going through dumpsters in the 400 block of S. Patrick. March 30 Dublin Police arrested a subject for a felony warrant.
