Farm Credit Bank reports 30+% increases from last year

Farm Credit Bank of Texas (FCBT) today reported financial results for its second quarter and first half of 2026.Net income was $63.7 million and $137.5 million for the three months and six months ended June 30, 2026; increasing 31.4% and 37.5%, respectively, compared with the same periods of 2025.

Texas AgriLife Extension district reporters compiled the following report for the Central Texas district: Daily highs had topped 100 degrees nearly every day for the month, and some areas recorded no precipitation over that span.

Commemoration set Friday for 9/11

Friday marks the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, where2,977 victims were killed.
