Elks Lodge celebrates success with BBQ contest, cars, bikes

Stephenville Area Elks Lodge in conjunction with their Drug Awareness Program hosted its annual Car and Bike Show Saturday, July 29 at the City Park as part of Summer Showdown. The following awards were given out: Best Car - Don Tullos for his 1929 Ford Model A.

New principal takes helm at elementary

A very familiar face will be waiting for students and parents at the Dublin Elementary doors as they return to school on Wednesday, Aug. 9. Dublin native and DHS graduate Brandy Carr will be greeting everyone as Dublin elementary Principal this year.

Bamber sets world record

After years of chasing it, Dublin High School graduate Levi Bamber claimed a world bench press record at the Texas State Championship in Odessa, cheered on by his wife and daughter, who also set state records of her own.

July 10 A caller needed to get her stuff back in the 300 block of West Blackjack but her ex would not allow her in, requested a call back. A person in the 200 block of Johnson Street stated he had a generator stolen and knew who took it.
