Rodeo Meet and Greet set for Grafton Market Aug. 19

Professional rodeo clown Jeff "Jackrabbit" Harris will be returning to Dublin on Saturday for a meet and greet in advance of the Dublin Rodeo Heritage Musem 20th anniversary celebration. The meet and greet will be held at Grafton Market from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Transformation Pathway (CWJC/CMJC) volunteers were thoroughly appreciated at a volunteer luncheon held Friday, Aug. 11 at The Station. Volunteers were greeted with hugs, thanks and a delicious pulled pork luncheon with a plethora of desserts.

There was a report of three people in the dumpsters getting stuff out by the apartments on Mesquite/Park Street. An officer made scene, spoke with individuals and they work for a construction company throwing stuff away. There was a report of loud music on Grafton Street.

Pursuit ends in arrest

In the overnight hours of Monday, Aug. 14, Erath County Sheriff’s deputies were involved in a vehicle pursuit that ended at the intersection of Patrick and Clinton. According to Erath County Sheriff’s Deputy Captain Tye Box, at approximately 11:21 p.m.

Alleged horse thief arrested

An alleged horse thief has been arrested in Erath County after an investigation was recently completed by the Erath County Sheriff’s Office as well as the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association. According to information released by Erath County Sheriff Matt Coates, on Sunday, Aug.
