Virtual job fair set for vets

DAV ( Disabled American Veterans) and RecruitMilitary will co-host the Virtual Veterans Job Fair, Tuesday, Aug. 29 from 11 a.m. – 3 p. m. The event is free to veterans, their spouses, active-duty military personnel and members of the National Guard and Reserve.

The following individuals were indicted on felony charges Thursday, Aug. 17 by the Erath Grand Jury.

The Comanche County Healthcare Foundation reported that tickets are now on sale for the annual dinner and auction fundraiser Saturday, Sept. 16 while bidding for the online auction will start Sunday, Sept. 3. The online September auction starts can be found at handbid.com Sunday, Sept. 3.

Aug. 7 There was a welfare concern in the 100 block of East May for an elderly female sitting on her walker out in the sun for a long period of time. Officer checked on her, and everything was OK. Aug.

100 years ago Aug. 10, 1923 Talk about pep, enthusiasm, good fellowship and all such, Well, we can hardly realize that Dublin has so much of it. Bright and early Wednesday morning about 25 cars with 60 or more Dublin boosters hit the trail for our nearby sister cities.
