Charity gingerbread house contest Revitalize Dublin in conjunction with Grafton Market is hosting a Gingerbread House Charity Competition. First place prize is 50/50 cash and Revitalize Dublin gets 50% of the funds raised.

Ride for Sobriety slated for Sunday

Lilly G Arena Productions is inviting riders to gallop for a good cause as they host a Ride for Sobriety this Sunday. The event slated for Nov. 26, benefiting drug awareness, will begin at Dublin City Park at noon with a sandwich lunch, Riders will disembark at 12:30 p.m.

Toys for tots continues

The local community is being called to help make Christmas merry for local kids as Toys for Tots drop boxes have been put up throughout Dublin and Stephenville. Locals can drop unwrapped toys in the boxes through Dec.

Nov. 6 A person stopped by to drop charges on an individual. A reporting person stopped in the station to get evidence back from a case that is going on. Due to the investigation still going on, they could not get their belongings. An officer checked out with a citizen with car issues.

Woman’s Thursday Club

The November meeting of the Dublin Woman’s Thursday Club was held in the Dublin Historical Museum on Thursday, November 9 at 4 p.m. Twelve members were present and seven absent as the roll was called by Patty Hirst in the absence of Secretary Judith Lemons.

Erath County 4-H students who participated in the State Fair of Texas, West Texas Fair and Heart O’ Texas Fair were recognized Monday, Nov. 13 by the Erath County Commissioners Court.

Dublin sales up in Sept.

Dublin sales tax collections were up significantly in September, at 16.82%, compared to September 2022, according to the state sales tax report released by Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar. For the month of September 2023, Dublin received $64.701.69, compared to $55,383.20 in September 2022.
