Bryan Lanting grew up on his family dairy, helping out with the daily tasks of farm life.
Lanting graduated from Dublin High School in 2001, and went on to San Angelo State to play football and rugby. He stayed there a year before transferring to Tarleton to study animal science.

Sales tax up for November

Dublin sales tax collections were up significantly in November 2023 at 16.6 percent higher compared to November 2022, according to the state sales tax report released by Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar.
For the month of November 2023, Dublin received $53,885.38, compared to $44,912.
