It’s time to spruce up those homes and yards and the annual city-wide clean up offers the perfect opportunity to do so.

The city of Dublin will host City Wide Clean Up 2024 from 8 a.m. to noon May 11.

The drop off location will be in the 100 block of North Park Street and those using the drop off are asked to enter from Live Oak Street west of Park Street.

If you are physically incapable or a senior citizen who needs assistance, please contact City Hall by May 7 at 254-445-3331.

Volunteers will meet at the Dublin City Park Pavilion at 7 a.m. and can sign up using the QR code online or by calling City Hall. Volunteers will be fed a meal at noon in appreciation for their work.

During the clean up, the city will not accept paint, light bulbs, batteries, gasoline, oils, items containing freon or other hazardous materials, tires, rims, chemical or limbs/ brush.

“This is also an excellent time to get rid of trash and debris if Code Enforcement has been in contact with you,” city organizers said.

The city will also be hosting its annual citywide garage sale May 25 with signups currently going on.

So far there are 13 homes signed up for the yard sale weekend. Dublin residents signing up for the garage sale will not have to pay the use permit fee.

Those wishing to register for the garage sale can call city hall at (254) 445-3331 during office hours (Monday –Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.).
