Dublin Junior High is bustling with activity as the year progresses toward the holiday season. Our students, staff, and families have much to look forward to in the coming weeks, with events and opportunities showcasing students’ talents and hard work.

Roof collapse prompts quick response

The city of Dublin has received a demolition permit from Crazy Ace LLC to remove a collapsed roof on the building next to the Corner Lot on North Patrick.On Thursday, Nov. 14, a collapse caused the break of windows and sent debris onto main street.

A call has been issued to bring a Dublin-born hero home to Texas as the Lubbock VFW started a petition to recover the remains of pilot Lt. Col. George Andrew Davis who was shot down defending others in the Korean War. The petition can be found at returnourhero.

Oct. 28Dublin PD assisted ECSO with a traffic stop near Blue Jay Dairy.Two males were fighting in the 700 block of North Grafton and the reporting person couldn’t break them up. Officer made scene and the other party had left the scene.
