Erath County emergency services are a bit more prepared in the event of a pipeline leak after taking part in a drill Thursday, Nov. 14, with Colt Midstream, a natural gas gathering and processing company in the area.

Sales tax up slightly

Dublin sales tax collections were up half a percent in September, compared to September 2023, according to the state sales tax report releasedbyTexasComptroller Glenn Hegar.For the month of September, Dublin received $65,017.91, compared to $64,701.69 in September 2023.

Officer was out at an abandoned house in the 500 block of East Dobkins for an open door. Officer checked the residence, all was clear and secured the building.The reporting person’s son was bit by two dogs at the cemetery between the high school and the vet clinic.

Dublin Elementary is partnering up with Dublin Goodfellows and will be having a canned food drive starting December 2 and ending December 13. Students can bring canned goods for donation. The class with the most canned goods will win a pizza party.
