It’s hard to believe that the first semester will be coming to an end on December 20th. Algebra I benchmark was on Wednesday, December 4th and we will have English I benchmark on December 10th and English II on December 11th. Biology and U.S. History will have benchmarks in January.

Santa is coming to Dublin this Saturday and there are a slew of events to welcome him to town.Saturday, Dec. 7, the Dublin Chamber of Commerce’s Cowboy Christmas will be held downtown. It is a rain or shine event, including the parade.

Tour of Homes Sunday

The Dublin Garden Club’s annual Tour of Homes is set for this Sunday, Dec. 8 and tickets can be purchased while viewing a group of beautiful homes and historically significant locations.The viewing of homes will be from 2-5 p.m. with refreshments served at The Little Church on Grafton from 2-5:30 p.

Tarleton uses largest gift for Osteopathic Medicine

Tarleton State University recently announced a lead gift of $12.5 million from alumnus and leading Austin attorney Dr. Joe Long to help launch its new College of Osteopathic Medicine.His generous commitment represents the largest philanthropic gift in the history of the university.
