City talks address, fee changes

The Dublin City Council was informed of the need to change 15 residential addresses and approved amendments to the fee schedule during the regular meeting Monday, May 12.

Library fundraiser Saturday

The Dublin Public Library is seeking everyone’s help with supporting a fundraiser to aid the Summer Reading Club.A breakfast burrito fundraiser will be held in conjunction with Dublin Market Day Saturday, May 17 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Wright Park.

Valedictorian Wendy Calderon and Salutatorian Sydney Master exchange a hug at the Dublin High School Academic awards Tuesday, May 13. The duo will lead the class of 2025 in commencement ceremonies at 7 p.m. Friday, May 23 at Bob and Norma Cervetto Stadium.

DISD praises students for community service

Dublin ISD’s official school year is almost over and along with a slew of awards at the Monday, May 12 school board meeting, the board announced high community service hours for students.

The Dublin Woman’s Thursday Club certainly has been busy!First, Erynn Sprouse and Denise Weems presented a report, on a hot and windy day, Thursday, April 10, in the side patio of Denise Weems’ house.
Community members from throughout Erath County gathered at the courthouse in the early morning hours of Thursday, May 1 to celebrate National Day of Prayer. Groups went to all four corners of Stephenville to pray over the community as part of the event. National Day of Prayer was established in 1988 by Congress stating the first Thursday of May specifically specifying “the people of the United States may turn to God in prayer and meditation at churches, in groups, and as individuals.” Courtesy photo
