Stephenville named Main Street city

The Texas Historical Commission (THC) has designated Stephenville as an incoming 2021 official Texas Main Street community. The announcement was made October 28 at the THC’s virtual quarterly commission meeting.

November 2 Reporting person came into the station to report a scam she received over email asking for money on the 200 block of Blackjack. November 3 A report was made about an 18 wheeler tailgating the reporting person aggressively on Blackjack.

Dublin voters pass liquor sales

Dublin voters approved, in a large majority vote, the sale of liquor within the city limits. Dublin City Manager Bobby Mendez reported that the passage will allow the sale of liquor at any type of business with proper leasing and licensing and without club memberships.
