Crews were busy the first week of June at Dublin Secondary School’s Bob & Norma Cervetto Field installing the video board on top of the stadium’s scoreboard. The screen will be able to broadcast footage during games and events so those in the stadium can have a better view and follow the action.

The Dublin ISD School Board was presented with STAAR and End of Course updates during the regular June meeting on Monday night. Dublin High School’s EOC scores had come in with the following passing results: ■ Algebra- 87% ■ English I- 79% ■ English II- 84% ■ U.S.

The Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) is asking Texans to reduce electric use as much this week following a significant number of outages and potential record electric use for the month of June.

Dublin’s Dollar General sits boarded up and behind a fence after a June 8 fire resulted in a total loss of the building and items inside. Dublin Police Chief Cameron Ray reported that dispatch received the call that the building was on fire shortly after 10 p.m.

Dairy farmers help hungry

Dairy MAX Nonprofit regional dairy council Dairy MAX today announced that more than 200,000 gallons of milk have been distributed to regional food banks in an multi-state area since May 2020 as part of dairy farmers’ collective COVID-19 relief efforts.
